Sully Parks has demonstrated a high level of technical competency in his field over the last year. Sully has taken on new projects where he saw areas for improvement and has taken his role as technical assistant seriously. Sully was hired, in part, to learn from Cecil Boswell who is retiring. Sully was an excellent student, learning his role, and then some. Over the last year Sully has learned ArcGIS, taken on a new project to streamline vehicle receipts, and has started an effort to clean and organize the laboratory space in preparation for new uses. Thank you, Sully for your dedication to our core value of technical competency.

Ingenuity – Emily Faust, Geologist, Well Installation Section
Over the last year, Emily has grown in her role as a geologist in the Well Installation section. Emily strives to perform in her role, and over the last year she showed how ingenuity helps our customers. Emily manages a caseload related to well construction enforcement. Compliance assistance in these situations is paramount. Emily was able to assist a customer with a well that was in a state of disrepair. Emily took patient steps to understand the situation, inspect the well, and finally assist the well owner in finding a new connection to public drinking water and helping them through the grant process with PDWB to ensure that the well was plugged, protecting groundwater and going above and beyond to assist a well owner. Thank you, Emily, for using ingenuity in your role to assist citizens of Missouri and protect groundwater.

Cooperation – Chris Wood, Unit Supervisor, Well Installation Section

Chris is serving as principal investigator for a brand-new grant program that we are participating in. This new grant program has been complicated to say the list, managing hiring, changing deliverables and timelines, no cost extensions, and supplies. Chris has shown dedication to cooperating with our internal fiscal teams, Department of Interior, contractors, the public, and keeping management informed throughout the process. Thank you, Chris, for your commitment to cooperation.
