The MoDNR General Services Program received a MoDNR Director’s Award for providing outstanding service while handling facility maintenance and supporting the department.

The team recently handled the planning and facilitation of repairs and upgrades to the street and parking areas around the Lewis and Clark State Office Building. The team took great care and often worked outside of normal work hours to complete the task with minimal disruption of day-to-day operations.

In addition to the parking repairs, the GSP team regularly assists with matters like landlord issues, cubicle modifications, furniture moving, fleet management, purchasing and procurement.

They also contribute significantly to financial stewardship. Examples include saving on shipping costs by picking up items, and obtaining an Amazon Business account, and ensuring proper p-card usage to increase efficiency and save money.
