Team Member of the Month
The DHEWD Team Member of the Month program recognizes a DHEWD central office team member and a DHEWD team member of the field who has provided outstanding service to Missouri citizens or other DHEWD team members. For more information about this award, you can review the Rewards and Recognition Playbook. NOTE: Since this is an intranet (internal) webpage, only state team members will be able to utilize this form of recognition.
How to nominate: Complete and submit a Team Member of the Month Nomination Form online by the 20th day of the month. Nominations submitted after the 20th of the month will be considered for the following month. If a nominee is not selected, you will need to nominate the team member again in order for them to be reconsidered. NOTE: Since this is an intranet (internal) webpage, only state team members will be able to utilize this form of recognition.
Who can nominate: Any DHEWD team member can nominate another DHEWD team member.
Reward: Team members who are selected as Team Member of the Month will be notified by the Department Commissioner and will be presented with a letter of recognition at a presentation ceremony. Additionally, a copy of this letter will be placed in the team member’s personnel file.
Team Member of the Year
The DHEWD Team Member of the Year recognizes a DHEWD central office team member and a DHEWD team member of the field who has provided outstanding service to Missouri citizens or other DHEWD team members. To be eligible for consideration, the DHEWD team member must also have a proven performance track record or has consistently displayed exceptional character worthy of highlighting.
How to nominate: Complete and submit a Team Member of the Year Nomination Form online during the month of October. Nominations submitted after October will be considered for the following year. NOTE: Since this is an intranet (internal) webpage, only state team members will be able to utilize this form of recognition.
Who can nominate: Any DHEWD team member can nominate another DHEWD team member.
Reward: Team members who are selected as Team Member of the Year will be notified by the Department Commissioner and will be presented with a letter of recognition during the All-Staff Meeting in December. Additionally, a copy of this letter will be placed in the team member’s personnel file.
Good DHEWD Award
This award recognizes a DHEWD central office team member or DWHEWD team member located in a Missouri Job Center who has displayed a specific character trait. For more information about this award, you can review the Rewards and Recognition Playbook. NOTE: Since this is an intranet (internal) webpage, only state team members will be able to utilize this form of recognition.
How to nominate: Complete and submit a Good DHEWD Award Nomination Form online. The deadline to submit a nomination for each quarter is:

League of Extraordinary DHEWDs
This award recognizes a team of DHEWD central office team members or DWHEWD team members located in a Missouri Job Center who have successfully completed a project as a team. NOTE: Since this is an intranet (internal) webpage, only state team members will be able to utilize this form of recognition.
How to nominate: Complete and submit a League of Extraordinary DHEWDs Nomination Form online. The deadline to submit a nomination for each quarter is:

Team Member Shout-Outs
This opportunity allows DHEWD team members to recognize one another. Shout-Outs are announced each Monday during an all team member call.
How to nominate: Email the Department Commissioner your nomination anytime the week prior to a meeting for consideration.
Who can nominate: Any DHEWD team member can nominate another DHEWD team member.
Reward: The team member will be publicly recognized during Monday’s all team member call.
Administrative Leave
Each month, a DHEWD supervisor has the opportunity to recognize a DHEWD team member by awarding 15 minutes of administrative leave.
How to nominate: There is no nomination process for this award; supervisors will select a team member based on their observations.
Who can nominate: Only a supervisor can select a team member for this recognition.
Reward: If selected by their supervisor, the team member will receive 15 minutes of paid administrative leave.
