Brooke Kramer, Assistant Engineer in the Permits Section of the Air Pollution Control Program, has been selected as the Division of Environmental Quality Team Member of the Month for January 2025.
Brooke was selected for her ability to navigate complex permitting projects with proficiency and attention to detail. “Brooke is a very efficient permit writer who does thorough reviews of each of her projects without getting lost in complexities or unimportant details,” said Chad Stephenson, her unit chief who nominated her for this award. “She is a self-starter that knows when to ask questions to keep projects moving.” Not only has Brooke taken on complicated permit projects, but she has also taken time to develop guidance for off-permit changes. The new guidance streamlines the process by having EPA notification as a part of the permit review process.
Congratulations on winning this award Brooke! We are lucky to have you on the DEQ team.
