After 36 years of service with Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks, Darrin Brown retired.  During his 36 years, Darrin worked as a maintenance worker for Knob Noster State Park and Katy Trail State Park, and then ending his career as the first Assistant Superintendent of Rock Island Trail State Park.  A new shelter at High Point, just west of Green Ridge, was named in his honor to celebrate his many years of great service.
